M. Laurent Granier living in Lyon, France, is a remarkable Heraldist whose work is highly appreciated in Europe and elsewhere for its correctness, its fidelity to the Heraldic traditions and yet innovative. His Heraldic creations are varied and remarkable as can be seen in his website.
Armorial bookplates have also merited his attention and he has created quite a few as can be seen in these pages. Usually printed in black & white or in one colour (due to high costs) his bookplates are nevertheless unique in its style, simplicity and inventivness, but always faithful to the laws of herladry.
The editors are hounoured to present Laurent Granier's work in «Cyber Journal of Heraldic Bookplates» with a selection of his armorial bookplates
